This poem has been written by Dina Nath Nadim. He was born in Srinagar in 1916.Initially he worked as a teacher and then he was appointed as Director Education. He worked for the promotion of Kashmiri language. He was a celebrated poet who wrote many Kashmiri songs. Most of his poem highlight unity, brotherhood , love and beauty of Kashmir valley.

Dina Nath has compiled the sweet history of Kashmir in his poem. He has written about Lala dedicated, the shrines of saints and other various beauties of Kashmir.
